e representantes de diversos sindicatos e federações sindicais de São Luís se
reuniram, na manhã desta quinta-feira (21), num café da manhã, para reafirmar
apoio à pré-candidatura de Washington Luiz (PT) à prefeitura da capital
maranhense. Na oportunidade, eles entregaram ao petista um manifesto de apoio ao
processo político da sucessão municipal deste ano.
Estiveram
representadas no evento a Central Única dos Trabalhores (CUT); Força Sindical;
Fetaema (Trabalhadores Rurais); Fetiema (Trabalhadores da Indústria); Fetran
(Empresas de Transportes); Fecema (Comerciantes); Federação dos Agentes
Comunitários; Sintsep (Servidores Estaduais); Sindsep (Servidores Federais);
Sindisprev (Servidores Previdência); Sindicato dos Rodoviários; Sindspem
(Sistema Penitenciário); Sindcomerciário (Comerciários); Sindicato dos Urbanitários;
Sindicato dos Vigias do Estado; Sindicato dos Servidores Municipais; Federação
dos Agentes de Saúde; Sindicato dos Correios; Sindicato dos Servidores de
Processamento de Dados; Sindicato dos Ferroviários; Sindicato dos Trabalhadores
de Postos de Combustíveis; Associação dos Moradores da Vila Nova, entre outras
entidades.
“Este
é um momento em que o movimento sindical reúne forças em prol do pré-candidato
a prefeito Washington Luiz. A Força Sindical trabalhará suas lideranças para o
fortalecimento dessa luta, que é dos movimentos dos trabalhadores. A cidade de
São Luís administrada por um sindicalista terá um futuro diferente”, afirmou o presidente
da Força Sindical, Frazão Oliveira.
“Esperamos
a vida inteira para termos um candidato sindicalista nas disputas pela
prefeitura de São Luís e esta é a vez de Washington”, disse Novark de Oliveira,
vice-presidente da CUT – MA.
Ao
receber o documento com o manifesto de apoio dos sindicalistas, o pré-candidato
petista destacou que o documento demonstra o pensamento dos trabalhadores de
São Luís para construir uma sociedade mais justa e igualitária. “Fiz questão de
iniciar esse momento de pré-campanha conversando com sindicatos para ouvir dos
trabalhadores o que eles pensam sobre nossa cidade”, frisou Washington Luiz.
O petista reafirmou que seu projeto tem como
meta tornar São Luís uma cidade sustentável e com qualidade de vida. “Estamos
construindo um projeto de governo por uma sociedade sustentável. O apoio e
força política dos movimentos sindicais serão o diferencial para vitória que
São Luís merece”, finalizou.
